Please join us in supporting our 2012 Pan Mass Challenge Campaign for an evening of cocktails and live music in Manhattan on Thursday May 31st. In addition to riding a bicycle 192 miles across Massachusetts on August 4/5, Terry Bock has pledged to raise a significant amount of money and we hope to have your help...... and a little fun along the way.
We are hosting a party at the Connolly's in New York at 121 W 45th St. Please do come out and support the cause and stop by for a quick one on the way home from work or better, go the distance with us. There will be many opportunities to win some really good stuff all in support of an outstanding cause. 100% of the proceeds from the party will go to Dana Farber Cancer Center & the Jimmy Fund. Recommended donation at the door will be $25. For those who went last year, we will have a similar line-up and may have other musicians sharing the stage. In addition, Terry has a few more tricks up his sleeve to engage the crowd and elicit audience participation.
This special evening also includes a return to the stage by acclaimed recording artists Busker & The Blue Route, details below.
Please RSVP by clicking on the comments field on the bottom of this page so we can have a good feel for headcount. I look forward to seeing you. I expect it to be an outstanding evening that is not to be missed.
A million thanks,
Terry, Busker & The Blue Route

The PMC is the nation's first fundraising bike-a-thon and today raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. During the first weekend in August over 5,000 cyclists, will log 192 miles over 2 days to raise over $30 million for the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research and care at Boston's world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Among today's many athletic fundraising events, the PMC is arguably the most successful in terms of the money raised and the percentage of funds it contributes directly to charity.
The PMC has grown considerably and consistently from its modest beginnings into and event that draws 5,500 cyclists from 36 states and eight countries. Today, the PMC raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country. The PMC generates half of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue and is Dana-Farber's single largest contributor. Over the past 32 years, PMC cyclists have ridden to raise and contributed $338 million to cancer research.
The PMC has been able to raise such a significant amount of money and manage the event so efficiently that is now able to self-fund administrative and organizational expenses. The PMC is considered among the leanest of fundraising organizations in the nation today as well as the largest of its kind.
Busker & The Blue Route
Kevin Bannerton and Paul Dubanowitz from Busker will be joined by Paul Kezmarsky to perform songs spanning their musical career that dates back to the early 90’s. Kevin, Paul and Paul were each part of the band The Blue Route which formed during their time at Villanova University, which also included Brian Erdlen and Marty Carey (who will be in attendance for the headlining act). After graduating from school, The Blue Route recorded one original full-length album in 1996 titled “Feels Like Sunday”. To support the album, The Blue Route toured in ’96-’98 mainly in Boston and NYC. After some success and quite a few memorable performances, sharing the stage with such artists as Mike Peters (The Alarm), Simon Townshend, Cold Water Flat and G.E Smith (Saturday Night Live) The Blue Route officially disbanded in 1999. After a bit of a layoff…the creative juices started flowing again and Paul D. and Kevin reunited to form Busker in 2003 and recorded “”Gargoyle”.
Busker performed throughout the greater Boston area in 2003-2005, developing a strong following. Some of the highlights included performances with 2001 John Lennon Songwriting grand prize winner Rachael Sage, NEMO Showcase performer Nicole McKenna and 2003 Hard Rock CafĂ© Town Fair winners Focusin’.
In 2005 Busker signed a publishing deal for the songs “Willy”, “World on Fire” and “Let it Ride” from Gargolye with Dean Ligon music in LA. In addition, “Willy” was the featured song during a Boston Red Sox telecast against the Oakland A’s as part of the “Dunkin’ Donuts Musical Montage” segment.
